Getting to Big Ku
Flying to Big Ku Lodge is fairly straightforward. From your hometown, you will fly into Anchorage, Alaska. On the day of your flight to Big Ku Lodge from Anchorage, you will go to our hangar at Lake Hood-Float Plane Airport, meet our pilot, and take our direct flight to the lodge. (Exact flight times to be determined.)
Flight Information– Your round trip flight to/from the lodge and Anchorage is included in your package cost. Our plane is a state of the art Cessna 208 Caravan on amphibious floats. The flight is approximately 1-½ hours from our Anchorage hangar to the beach near the lodge, where the staff will greet you. The flight from our hangar to the lodge will be reserved for you unless otherwise notified.
